About Qbsp-OS2
--------------

THIS IS THE STAND ALONE VERSION! EMXRT.ZIP (EMX.DLL) IS NOT REQUIRED!
IF YOU WANT THE EMX-RUNTIME-DEPENDEND VERSION GET QBSPOS2E.ZIP FROM WHERE
YOU GOT THIS FILE.

This is a simple port of the QBSP.EXE, LIGHT.EXE and VIS.EXE utilities
to OS/2. It is based on the modified source code done by... I can't figure
out his name. His eMail address is: set@netcom.com Thanx for the advanced
versions!

For a full description of features and bugs see README.TXT included in
this file.

Due to different memory handling under OS/2 I removed the "shows used memory"
feature. Might be re-implemented.

Modifications are not marked in the source files. However, I only changed
BSP5.H, VIS.H, LIGHT.H (in order to disable the "shows used memory" feature),
CURS.C and SCRN.C. Please understand that this is a REAL QUICK port so don't
expect a state-of-the-art style.

Sorce code is included, just unzip SRC.ZIP into a new directory. If you want
to compile: feel free to do so. Use MAKEFILE or MAKEFILE.EMX dependig wether
you want your code to be dependend on EMX.DLL.

You can get both versions in compiled form from ftp.cdrom.com, probably
located somewhere down /.11/idgames2/. QBSPOS2.ZIP is the stand alone version,
QBSPOS2E.ZIP requires EMX.DLL (emx runtime 0.9c).

Feel free to report any bugs, comments and/or ideas to me:
mosub@hannover.sgh-net.de

See you folks!
