TITLE: TeamSkins
BY: Shawn Schultz (Rizzen) (schult@ida.net)
Shortdesc: Visually see status of other players armor levels and bio suit. This
version is only for team play. Regular deathmatch coming soon.

In my humble opinion, this patch is a must have!
REALISM REALISM REALISM REALISM!!!!!!
This patch allows you to see what armor the other players are wearing and in what condition
the armor is in. If the armor level drops below 50 the armor takes on the look of being shot up (bullet holes). If a player picks up the bio suit their skin matches the bio suit (Looks absolutely incredible!!!!!). If the player picks up the armor while wearing bio suit the skin does not change to that armor until the suit runs out.
This patch currently is configured for team play only. Some of the code is from TeamLock by Dennis Noordsij. If you join this server you will be forced to choose a color, either red or blue. Once your color is set the server sets your team skin and all skins afterwards (THERE ARE NO IMPULSE NUMBERS!!!! we don't won't people to be able to change there skins on here).
The following files are included:
client.qc
combat.qc
defs.qc //had to add playercolor as a float
items.qc
player.mdl
In order to use this patch you must have qccdos to compile it. After the file is compiled place progs.dat in it's own directory such as teamskin. in that directory create another called progs. Place the player.mdl in this directory.
start quake with: quake -game directory_progs.dat_is_in
Known bugs: I know of none at this point. I've done quite a bit of testing but could find no bugs.
Future versions:
* Sometime withing the first few days of this patch being release, there will be a patch for regular deathmatch.
* Possibly more wound levels. The only limitation to this is size of the mdl file.
Thanks,
Shawn Schultz
