Release Notes /notas    : This is version 1.03. The QuakeC code, textures,
                          maps and lmps have been modified so every message 
                          generated by the file pak0.pak is in Spanish.
                          Restrictions: messages generated by the engine 
                          such as "god mode on" are still in English.
                          In order to play the game ENTIRELY in Spanish,
                          you must play the levels included in this pack,
                          which are the SAME contained in the shareware
                          version but modified (I obviously don't deserve 
                          credit for that).
                          The levels entities have been modified only to
                          display messages in Spanish and that's it.
                          The wad, lmps, texturas are new. Most parts are ID
                          originals modified, some are new (translations).
                          The modification in the source code is mine.                          
                          
                          Esta es la versión 1.03 del patch. El código
                          fuente, texturas, mapas y lmps fueron modificados
                          para que todo mensaje viniendo del archivo
                          pak0.pak esté en español. Limitaciones:
                          mensajes generados por el programa principal
                          (quake.exe) todavía están en inglés como por
                          ejemplo "god mode on". Para tener ABSOLUTAMENTE
                          todo en español, debes jugar los niveles de 
                          este paquete que fueron acondicionados 
                          únicamente para desplegar mensajes en español.
                          La mayor parte de este material es original de ID
                          modificado, otra parte es creación mía.

The story so far: after conquering the US and Europe, Quake forces
extend to the remainig countries of Earth, particularly South American
countries and Spain. Millions of Latino warriors fall. Only a few 
brave guys from Chile, Nicaragua and Spain remain. They unite their 
forces to kick Quake devils out of the planet.
  

Historia: después de haber conquistado los EE UU y Europa, las
fuerzas de Quake deciden aplastar al resto del mundo en particular
América Latina y España. Guerreros latinos caen por millones. Solo
algunos valientes de Chile, Nicaragua y España sobreviven. Unen sus
fuerzas para expulsar las hordas de Quake del planeta.

Installation / instalación:

                    
opcion 1:  crear un paquete por separado
option 1:  create a new pak file
   
  1) Descomprime el zip en un directorio paralelo a Id1\
     Unzip the file under your Quake directory.

  2) En una ventana de DOS, escribe otropak.bat
     At a DOS prompt, run otropak.bat

  3) Juega Quake con la opcion -game   : quake -game xxx
     donde xxx es el nombre de l directorio donde esta el patch

     Play Quake with the -game option i.e.  quake -game xxx
     (xxx is the folder containing the patch)

  4) Que lo disfruten !
     Enjoy it !

opcion 2: modificar los paquetes originales
option 2: modify the original pak files 
  
   1) Descomprime el zip en el directorio id1\
      Unzip the file in your id1\ folder

   2) En una ventana de DOS , escribe mismopak.bat
      At a DOS prompt, run mismopak.bat

   3) Juega Quake como siempre
      Play Quake as usual.

   4) Disfrutenlo !
      Enjoy it !



ATENCION ATENCION ....           ATTENTION !

1) Si eliges la opcion 2, los paquetes originales seran modificados y 
para tenerlos de nuevo, deberas reinstalarlos desde el CD o el archivo
quake5.exe ( si acaso lo tienes).

1) If you choose the second option, the original paks will be modified.
In order to have them back, you will have to reinstall the game.


2) Ademas, para la opcion 1 se requieren al menos 36 MB en disco duro y
60 MB para la opcion 2

2) 36 MB in your hard drive are required for the first option and 60 MB 
for the second option

You may distribute the patch  freely
 as long as you include this text file and give me credit for the 
patch EXCLUSIVELY. If you distribute only the original ID material you
don't need to give me credit since I don't deserve it
(that material is ID intellectual property). If you want to include it 
in a compilation, go ahead but I don't think ID will appreciate.... 

Puedes distribuir este paquete gratuitamente a condición que me des
 el crédito por el patch EXCLUSIVAMENTE (los BSP son propiedad intelectual
de ID Software y si solo distribuyes los BSPs no merezco crédito alguno).
  Si se te ocurre incluir esto en una compilación tendrás
que vértelas con ID.
